Lucas James is a twenty-two-year-old passionate singer, songwriter, musician, and producer from Cincinnati, Ohio, currently based in Lynchburg, Virginia. His music ranges from electrifying indie-rock anthems to subdued, acoustic singer-songwriter ballads, consistently spotlighting story-infused lyrics. His music is inspired by the discography of artists like Ben Rector, LIzzy McAlpine, and The 1975. 

In August 2020, Lucas released his self-produced album, “Space Kid”, and on April 28th, 2023, is releasing his new, full-length, story-driven album, “the way you made me wanna dream.” Littered with experiences of young love, friendship, mental health struggles, heartache, and hope, “the way you made me wanna dream” tells one complete, nostalgic story all the way through.
